How to Get the Extension & Start Tipping

1. Download & Install

  • Go to our official website.
  • Click on “Browser Extension” for your browser.
  • The extension is currently available for Chrome/Brave (Twitter only for now; more platforms coming soon).

2. Install the Extension

  • Follow the prompts to add it to your browser or check the video
  • Once installed, you’ll see a small T near your address bar.

3. Create a Wallet or Connect One

  1. If you already have a BSC wallet (like MetaMask configured for Binance Smart Chain), connect it.
  2. If not, download metamask and create a wallet or check the video
  3. IMPORTANT: Back up your seed phrase/private keys and keep them offline. Always follow standard crypto safety practices.

4. Start Tipping on Twitter

  • Activate the Extension by toggling it “on.”
  • You’ll see a TipMe button next to each Twitter user’s handle (only visible to those with the extension).
  • Click “Tip” on a tweet you love.
  • A pop-up will ask how many $TIP tokens you want to send.
  • Review BSC gas fees (usually low), click Confirm, and the tip is sent—if the recipient is registered.

Getting Set Up to Receive Tips (Whether or Not You’ve Been Tipped Yet)

You can register any time—even before anyone tips you. It only takes 30 seconds to start receiving $TIP.

Option A: Register Proactively

Go to https://tipme.space/join-the-tribe/ and enter:

  • Your email address
  • Your Twitter handle
  • Your BSC wallet address

You’re now part of TipMe and ready to receive tips.

Option B: Register After Someone Tips You

  • If someone tries to tip you and you’re not registered yet, you’ll get a DM or alert.
  • Visit https://tipme.space/join-the-tribe/.
  • Enter your email, Twitter handle, and wallet address.
  • Respond to the DM so the tipper knows you’re set up.
